Hey the sun is shining!
Hey the sun is shining like its never shone before!
Is this observation just a relic of my youth
Or has it really never shone like this before?
How can I believe that something's true
Unless it hits me on the head
Or like a steaming pile of poo 'cause
I can smell it, sitting underneath my shoe.
A simple little story on the front page
Misrepresents the truth.
The people who believe the little story
Are the voters at the booth.
When you add up all the little stories
that are not the truth
And multiply it by the eyes that
Read it and believe it
We present the situation of the
Simple little story being true!
Hey the sun is shining!
Hey the sun is shining like its never shone before!
Is this observation just a relic of my youth
Or has it really never shone like this before?
We may never know just who we really are
Because we're loyal to the queen
And that means someone's reigning over us
And that we're never really free.
Whether it is god or its the
Queen or the president of the
War machine that lives next door or
Our own foolish government
A sales job is a sales job and they
Sold it and we bought it now we
Own it and we use it and we try to sell it
To the whites who'll buy it and the
Blacks and others can go fuck themselves
Because they're different and besides
Their colour proves that they are
Clouds which shield us from
The eye of God.
