When I look out on the Delta
I see stars and boats upon the River,
on the River
When I look out on the Delta
I see stars and boats upon the river
As it to and fro’s on this impatient earth
From the mountain in what we might call a no man’s land
I watch the thundering river flow and vanish out beyond the Delta Sand.
I will give and so will you give
All our arms and legs for one shred of truth
The end, or what we fancy we might call the end
Is never far away, it’s just around the corner
Or what we call the corner.
We don’t know what will happen in the end
Happen in the end
We don’t know what’s good or bad
Or if it even matters
In the end.
